A walk in the Desert

On our walk today, we came across a dead lizard!  Can you see him?  ugh.  :)

Busy little ants!

Joshua was trying so hard to catch a butterfly because mommy caught one.  Then I tried to catch a dragonfly...that was way too hard. 

Experiment of the Spider!  Okay, so we found this spider and hoped that he would build a web.  Not sure that he really wants to since he isnt in a good enviroment.  We caught a butterfly today on the walk and decided to put it in with him to see what happens.  This is just how nature works...the kids understood that if we cant get the spider to eat he would just have to go back to the desert and he would just eat a butterfly there.  haha.  So, we will wait and see...what do YOU think will happen?  The butterfly is at the top of the picture(it is yellow)and the spider is right by the door handle view.
